SANITY OF THE SAINT

Domestic policies and their aftermath - in the realm of politics of a country; domestic policy is formulated to protect its people. The events of 9.11 in NYC or the Mumbai attack of 26.11 were a misuse of the policy of “democratic secularism”. Domestic policy in the personal realm or that of the family is not much different in its intent. Taboos demarcate boundaries, yet acknowledge human instincts that are more primitive than the advent of society.
There is also the impact of these events and the mark it leaves on the fabric of society…”The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” Were the words of George Bernard Shaw. Where majority rules, there continues to be repeated bomb threats on innocent civilians and molestations on innocent young church goers…majority “adapts”, hence, lack of assurance and volatility is infiltrating into the social fabric, the world over. This show is an attempt to appeal to the “unreasonable” element in men and women so they question the sanity of the saint.
