Patterns are intrinsically associated with belief systems. Thus we have fish motifs and crosses dotting the landscape of Christianity, the crescent moon and manora illuminates the Islamic and Jewish worlds respectively, Hindu temples are adorned by ancient symbols of mandalas and swastikas…

Our intellect converses in metaphors with our environment. Thus we assume a bearded God creating the first man, at the mention of Creation of Man by Michael Angelo or the body of a man in Da Vinci’s circle and square juxtaposed, Vitruvian man…up until a few years ago, Coca Cola and blue jeans equated to everything American…
Globalization morphs the meaning that are mapped into our minds, thus we have the golden arch of Mc Donald’s painted with Chinese dragons and Kentucky Fried Chicken offers steamed rice as a side in lieu of Southern flaky biscuits in Kolkata, India, where the primary staple is rice. Thus we feel the need to spit out, “the butt ends of our days and ways” (T.S. Eliot) and reinvent.

I am an avid follower of your paintings. Love them. Though your website has all your works without the accompanying text, its easier to open this blog. Is it possible to have all your paintings/works, in a blog where they will only have their names, and no text? It will encourage amateur art lovers like me to have free flowing imagination. Its always a pleasure to look at 'Philosopher in meditation' (Rembrandt) for hours and try to feel the painting and try to understand about what it is saying, than reading about it. Same can be said about your 'Wait'. Your paintings are no less, especially the series 'Icon'.
This is just a suggestion.
